De Nederlandse OCD Associatie (NOCDA) is een wetenschappelijke studie naar het ontstaan en beloop van de obsessieve compulsieve stoornis (OCS). Diverse factoren die kunnen bijdragen aan het ontstaan en het beloop van de dwangstoornis worden hierbij in kaart gebracht, zoals biologische determinanten, klinische kenmerken, sociale kenmerken, levensgebeurtenissen en het beroepsmatig functioneren. De verwachting is dat de resultaten van dit onderzoek zullen leiden tot meer inzicht in de klachten en een betere behandeling van de dwangstoornis.
